Events

Calendar

Information about upcoming music events, concert dates and other information will be posted here when available.

Chorus Information
  • Chorus will be on Wednesday afternoon from 3:25 to 4:15 starting September 16th.
  • If your student rides the bus you will either need to pick them up at 4:15 or give them permission to ride home with a friend.
  • All students grades 3-5 are welcome in chorus, but only if they want to be there and they must be at rehearsal unless I have a note excusing them from practice.
  • Any student that chooses to behave in a way that keeps others from being able to succeed will be asked to leave the group.

Class Rules

My class rules are very simple to follow, and if a student has trouble remembering them they will be asked to sit out until they can follow them.

  1. Enter quietly and sit down.
  2. Always do your best.
  3. Be Respectful to your classroom, classmates, and the music teacher.
  4. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

Our Mission

To educate, engage, and empower each student to succeed in a dynamic world.

Our Vision

To serve the needs of Our Military's Children so that they will excel in learning and life.

Goal 1

By June of 2014, all students will solve mathematical tasks and demonstrate their mathematical thinking and reasoning by using problem-solving strategies as measured by the Problem Solving rubric, Terra Nova 3rd Edition Scholastic Math Inventory.

Goal 2

By June 2014, all students will improve reading comprehension using the strategies matching readers to appropriate text and through use of explicit fluency instruction as measured by age appropriate quarterly assessments including the BAS Reading List (K), the BAS Fluency assessment and rubrics (grades 1–5), the Scholastic Reading Inventory (grades 3-5), and the Terra Nova, 3rd Edition (grades 3-5).
