About the NC-Fort Bragg District
The Fort Bragg School District has three schools closing at the end of this school year and as a result, redistricting is necessary. Students currently attending Holbrook Elementary, Murray Primary and Pope Elementary schools, as well as students who live in the Normandy housing area, will be placed in new schools for school year 2014-2015. The Redistricting power point is posted below and it covers the plans for all new attendance areas, as well as the schools the students that live in that area will attend.
Informational meetings will be held in each of our communities to discuss the redistricting plan and to have open dialogue about the plan in the near future. A schedule of those meetings will be posted on our website in early march.
We are proud of the educational opportunities offered in our district. Our focus is on improving academic achievement for all students while supporting the mission of our military families.
The military commands, school boards and parents provide wonderful community support to us and we feel fortunate to serve the families of our military sponsors.
We have a total of 11 schools to serve students living on post in grades Pre-K through 8.
- 6 Elementary Schools
- 2 Primary Schools
- 1 Intermediate School (Grades 2 - 5)

Students in grades 9 - 12 and those living off post attend local county schools.
