DoDEA is proud to present the Community Strategic Plan (CSP) for School Years 2013/14 – 2017/18. The CSP demonstrates DoDEA’s commitment to continuously improve in its efforts to educate and prepare military-connected students to excel in today’s increasingly competitive, global 21st Century environment. The CSP is provided in two volumes:

Volume I establishes the foundation for the organization’s strategic plan. It provides the strategic plan’s enduring, foundational elements that define the desired levels of organizational reform. The foundational elements include the:

Volume II provides the strategies for achieving the reform desired within each goal area. This volume represents the dynamic portion of the plan and will be the focus of the CSP’s annual review and reporting process.

Together, the volumes provide the framework for putting the desired standard-driven reform in place in DoDEA. Through the goals, action plans and performance measures, the plan establishes the rigorous standards that are designed to inspire and prepare all students for success in today’s dynamic, global environment.

The CSP Training Module is currently under development with an anticipated completion/release in early August 2013. The training module will be designed to provide DoDEA employees and members of DoDEA’s community an overview of DoDEA’s strategic planning process and the CSP for SY 2013/14-2017/18.

The CSP Background Report provides the results of the DoDEA research plan that initiated the CSP planning process. The research effort collected data from throughout the DoDEA community. The data was used to formulate the CSP's foundational elements found in Volume I.
