1342.18 Criteria and Procedures for Providing Assistance to Local Educational Agencies (LEAs)
Reissues reference (a) Updates responsibilities and procedures according to reference (b) to provide financial assistance to eligible local educational agencies (LEAs) to benefit dependent students of members of the Armed Forces and DoD civilian employees.
 
1342.25 School Boards for Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS)
This Instruction implements policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for the establishment and operation of elected school boards for schools operated by the Department of Defense under references (a) and (b).
 
1342.26 Eligibility Requirements for Minor Dependents to Attend Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS)
This Instruction implements policy, assigns responsibilities and prescribes procedures for enrollment in the DDESS Arrangements operated by the Department of Defense in accordance with references (a) and (b).and Secondary Schools (DDESS) document

Reissues Reference (a) as a DoD Instruction and consolidates References (a), (b), and (c) in accordance with the guidance in Reference (d) and the authority in DoD Directive 5106.01 (Reference (e)), to streamline their content and clarify the DoD Hotline Program responsibilities.
 
7050.3 Access to Records and Information by the Inspector General, Department of Defense
In accordance with Title 5, United States Code Appendix (Reference (a)), and the authority in DoD Directive 5106.01 (Reference (b)), this instruction reissues DoD Instruction 7050.3 (Reference (c)) to implement statutory authority and Departmental policy, and assign responsibilities for providing expeditious access to DoD records and information required by members of the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense (OIG DoD) while performing their official duties.
 
7600.02 Audit Policies
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5106.01 (Reference (a)), this instruction reissues DoD Instruction (DoDI) 7600.02 (Reference (b)) to establish policy, assign responsibilities, and prescribe procedures for DoD audits.
