AMS Curriculum ProgramsCurriculum programs are programs that are part of the curriculum, playing an essential role to support and improve the excellence of the core curriculum of DoDEA.
The following programs are provided for students at Andersen Middle School who qualify:
ESL (English as a Second Language)
Gifted Education - Andersen Middle School has no Gifted Education program; however services are offered for students who demonstrate high levels of achievement or talent and are academically motivated. The guidance counselor is the point of contact.
Special Education - Andersen Middle School provides specially designed instruction, support and services to eligible students with an identified disability. The Case Study Committee working collaboratively with parents, design Individualized Education Plans (IEP) to meet the unique learning needs of students. Services available include physical and occupational therapy, transportation, assistive technology, speech therapy, counseling, medical services for diagnosis and evaluation purposes. If you believe that your child may have a disability that negatively impact his or her educational progress, contact your child's teacher and/or the Case Study Committee Chairperson, Kawana Dobbins.
