Danell Lynn

Biography

Ms. Danell Lynn comes to Europe West from DoDEA Pacific East District Office as Instructional Systems Specialist – Special Education.
Ms. Lynn joined DoDEA in 2021 from the Arizona Department of Education departing as the lead trainer for the Facilitated IEP program across the state, and IDEA compliance monitor/state investigator. She has over 18 years education experience to include in classroom teaching, administration, district, and state level positions. She has over 3 years in school administration and is looking forward to learning and growing as an administrator with multiple commands and countries collaborating in educating young minds.
Ms. Lynn holds two Master’s in International Education Leadership and Cross-Categorical Special Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has completed several continuing education courses in areas of Leadership, Virtual Education, Curriculum and Organizational Improvement and more. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys continuing education and growing her knowledge and experience.
Ms. Lynn grew up as a military dependent of a career Air Force father and attended DoDEA schools in Europe when they were stationed abroad. She is honored and excited to bring her education background and skills to support DoDEA and military connected families and students at AFNorth International School.
As a daughter of a career Air Force officer and sister to an Army Veteran, she is grateful to be on board with a team and education system dedicated to supporting and educating military connected students.
Ms. Lynn has done humanitarian work with the King’s Council of Morocco, First Lady of El Salvador, She Rescue House-Cambodia, multiple grassroots organizations, and NGOs, and was honored to attend the Global Compassion Ball at the United Nations, NY. She has traveled to over 47 countries, lived in 4, and continues to pursue a life of cultural exploration.
She has received Governors Arts Award nominations, Teacher of the Year Award, Governors Commendation, One Sight Foundation recognition for humanitarian work. She continues to strive for excellence in her professional and personal standards.
Ms. Lynn is very active in education as her vocation and advocation, throughout her career in education and doing humanitarian work around the globe with multinational students. As a passionate educator and traveler, she is excited to become a part of AFNorth and the cross-cultural connections and community it brings.
