Danielle Rodriguez

Biography

Danielle Rodriguez is enthusiastic about bringing her extensive educational experience to the role of Assistant Principal, with 25 years dedicated to DoDEA. Her journey in education began in 1994 in the vibrant public schools of the Bronx, New York, where she worked to nurture young minds. Her sister's military involvement inspired Danielle to expand her horizons by joining DoDEA in 2000. This decision led her to Yokosuka, Japan, and ultimately to enriching teaching experiences in Seoul, Korea, and various bases in Germany, including Stuttgart. She now looks forward to making a positive impact in her new role as Assistant Principal.

Danielle has embraced various roles throughout her career, including classroom teacher, reading specialist, coach, and interventionist. Her commitment to fostering supportive school communities has inspired her to take on leadership positions, including serving as a building leadership team member and contributing as a teacher leader, all while guiding her school in Continuous School Improvement efforts.

Danielle believes passionately that students should always be at the center of educational initiatives. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child receives equitable, accessible, and inclusive learning opportunities. Her academic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Social Work endorsement from St. Elizabeth's University, a master’s degree in Elementary Education from Pace University, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Framingham University.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Danielle enjoys her interests in fashion, sunflowers, and travel while cherishing her role as a mother to her son, Parker. With a unique combination of experience, enthusiasm, and commitment, Danielle is excited about this new chapter in her educational journey and the opportunity to support students and the school community.
