Dr. Jennifer Boyles

Biography

Dr. Boyles began her DoDEA career as a student teacher at Maxwell Elementary School in 2010. While there, she also taught English as a second language for the International Dependents English Course (IDEC). Relocations offered her opportunities to serve as a 6th grade literacy teacher at a charter school in Rome, GA and as a kindergarten teacher in Santa Rosa County Florida. In 2016, Dr. Boyles returned to DoDEA serving the students in Ft. Benning, GA in roles including Gifted Teacher, Literacy Support Specialist, and STEM teacher. Most recently, Dr. Boyles joined the Pacific South District in 2021 serving as the Advanced Academics Programs and Services Resource Teacher (AAPS-RT) for Zukeran Elementary School.

As a teacher leader, Dr. Boyles held various leadership roles including Continuous School Improvement Leadership Team (CSILT) Chair, Team Lead, Technology Team member, School Advisory Committee member, School News Liaison, Professional Learning Communities (PLC) Leadership Team, STEAM Coordinator, and Partners in Education (PIE) Coordinator. In 2020, she was presented the Caroline Meyers Teacher of the Year award.

Dr. Boyles holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Huntingdon College, as well as a Master of Arts in Childhood Education and an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Auburn University. In 2017, she earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction at Liberty University. Dr. Boyles models lifelong learning and continues to take courses that support her goals as a school leader.

Dr. Boyles is excited to join the Sushi family serving the students, staff, and community of Kadena Elementary School! She looks forward to working collaboratively to engage our military connected students and ensure they have the resources they need to reach their fullest potential.
