Dr. Quintin Davis
Biography
Dr. Quintin Q. Davis was born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, and educated in the public school system of North Carolina. As a 14-year educator, his experiences span the North Carolina, California, and Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) – Europe East school systems. He also taught independently in Belgium, Europe.
Dr. Davis received a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Elizabeth City State University, a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University, and an Education Specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Liberty University. He also holds an autism authorization and teacher of English learners’ certification. He earned his doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in special education at Grand Canyon University.
His education career began with the Elizabeth City Pasquotank Public Schools (ECPPS) at River Road Middle School. During his tenure (2006-2008), he taught 6th – 8th-grade resource courses in communication skills and mathematics. Dr. Davis was also the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) chairperson. Additionally, he served as the Hewlett Packard grant writer and project lead teacher.
After moving to California, Dr. Davis taught at Christa McAuliffe Middle School in the Lodi Unified School District (LUSD) from 2008-2011. This stint was followed by a one-year cultural experience while living in Fribourg, Switzerland. Upon returning to the USA, he taught as a founding teacher of Turner Academy with LUSD, a K – 8 grades public school for students with emotional disabilities. In 2014, he was an educational specialist at Joseph Kerr Middle school in Elk Grove Unified School District (EUSD).
Dr. Davis returned to Europe to teach business English in Belgium from 2015 - 2017. In August 2017, he joined DoDEA as a teacher at Wiesbaden Middle School in Germany. There, he taught in the resource and co-teaching settings from 2017 to 2020. His experiences include facilitating training, scheduling, coordinating district-wide assessments, managing student activity accounts, serving as the Faculty Representative Spokesperson, and effectively utilizing data to prescribe, plan, and instruct teaching and learning. In July 2020, he was promoted to assistant principal of Kaiserslautern Middle School and in April of 2022 he moved to Ansbach MHS as Assistant Principal.
Dr. Davis is happily married. He enjoys learning languages, traveling, and spending time with family. Among other contributors to his successes, his mother and father have instilled the importance of helping others, hard work, and grit. Dr. Davis believes in enjoying life by helping others.
