Dr. Vitania Quinones-Quinland

Biography

Dr. Quinones-Quinland brings more than 21 years of experience in education to Patch Elementary School. She has taught Special Education in the elementary and middle school level. She has taught communication and education courses as an adjunct faculty member for over ten years. Dr. Quinones-Quinland has served in both DoDEA Americas and DoDEA Europe East as both an Assistant Principal and Principal. Her most recent assignment was as the Principal of Vogelweh Elementary School, DoDEA Europe’s first 21st Century design school. She has lived and worked in several places during her career in education, including Arizona, Georgia, New Mexico, Germany, and the Middle East.

Dr. Quinones-Quinland is a life-long learner. She completed her undergraduate studies at Arizona State University with a degree in Intercultural Communication and Rhetorical Theory, her first graduate degree at University of New Mexico as she continued her studies with a Masters in Intercultural Communication, and her second Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Elementary Education and Special Education with a Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. She most recently completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

Dr. Quinones-Quinland and her husband are natives of the US Virgin Islands and share four children. Their family enjoys traveling, outdoors time and activities, and spending time together. Dr. Quinones-Quinland’s goal as an educator is to build relationships and create opportunities that allow for lifelong learning for every student.

She and her family look forward to living and working with the Stuttgart community.
