Monika Kerner
Biography
Ms. Kerner joined the DoDEA Mid-Atlantic District in 2016 and served as assistant principal of Devers and Gordon Elementary Schools on Fort Bragg.
Prior to coming to DoDEA, Ms. Kerner served in the Public Schools of North Carolina as both a classroom teacher and school administrator at the elementary and middle school levels.
Ms. Kerner earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993 and her Master of School Administration degree from Fayetteville State University in 2010. She is a US Army veteran. Ms. Kerner considers herself a life-long learner and loves to inspire and support that drive in others. She strives daily to build strong, effective partnerships between the school and the families it serves. In her leisure time, Ms. Kerner enjoys reading and movies, being out of doors, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
