Mr. Christopher Ford

Fort Knox Middle High School is excited to announce the appointment of Christopher Ford as its new principal. With over a decade of experience in education and a dedication to student success, Christopher Ford brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his new role.

Ford's journey into education began with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management earned during his service in the military. Inspired by his experiences coaching high school sports and mentoring students, he transitioned from human resources to education, earning a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University. 

Ford is a dedicated member of the Army Reserve, serving for 21 years as a Human Resource Non-Commissioned Officer. He previously served as a 7th and 8th grade Math teacher, a Math Interventionist, before becoming an assistant principal overseeing the math department, CTE department, and student services. 

Ford's leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration and communication and empowers individuals to showcase their strengths while addressing areas of growth potential. His educational philosophy centers on building relationships and the belief that "you have to reach them, to teach them." As Kingsolver's new principal, Christopher Ford is committed to leading the school with unwavering dedication and a passion for education to nurture the potential of every student.
