Mr. Edwin Caballero

Biography

Mr. Edwin Caballero is thrilled to join the staff of Livorno EMS as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Caballero is joining the Europe South District from the Americas Mid-Atlantic District as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Caballero’s focus is developing excellent schools by creating a culture and climate that fosters collaborative teaming through strong relational leadership, open communication, and professional learning.

Mr. Caballero received his undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri and his Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is currently a Doctoral student at Texas Tech University, pursuing a degree in Educational Leadership.

Mr. Caballero began his educational career as a fifth-grade teacher in Fort Worth, Texas. He has taught middle school and high school in several districts prior to becoming an administrator. During his teaching years, Mr. Caballero was active as a Student Council sponsor, National Junior Honor Society sponsor, Campus Improvement Committee member, Varsity golf head coach, and Varsity basketball head coach.

Mr. Caballero joined DoDEA in 2018 as the Assistant Principal at Antilles High School at Fort Buchanan Puerto Rico. His recent assignment was at Rota Middle High School where he served as the Assistant Principal.

Mr. Caballero has a personal connection with the military, serving in the US Air Force prior to becoming an educator. Mr. Caballero enjoys traveling, golfing, reading, and is looking forward to working with the staff, students, and community of Livorno EMS.

Mr. Caballero is married and has two daughters and several grandchildren.
