Mr. Kale Dyer
Biography
Kale Dyer brings over 20 years of educational experience to his new role as the Assistant Principal of Ryukyu Middle School. He has taught in Washington, Colorado, and most recently here in Okinawa on Kadena Air Base. His long career as a teacher has contributed greatly to his effectiveness in reaching out to students and helping them to enjoy learning in the classroom. Mr. Dyer believes that effective communication, paired with his passion for driving student success benefits all school community stakeholders.
Mr. Dyer has a B.A. in Education from Western Washington University with a focus in secondary math and physics. He has a Master’s in Leadership from Fuller Northwest and completed his Administration Certification through the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, CO.
He and his wife of 25 years have two sons and strong family ties to the military community. Their oldest son is currently active duty in the Navy and their youngest is here with them in
Okinawa. As a family, the Dyer’s have embraced the dynamics of living overseas and the pride
that comes with being a military connected family, both personally and professionally.
Mr. Dyer brings passion, drive, and a unique resume of experience as a teacher, leader, and mentor. His time in education has prepared him to effectively relate to students, their families and school faculty.
