Mr. Michael Jimerson

Biography

Michael Jimerson is an Indiana native, born in La Porte, IN. He attended Indiana University, where he met his wife, Rachel. Michael and Rachel have been married for over 10 years. Together, they have three young daughters, ages 5, 4, and 2 years old. holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Sciences, from Indiana University, and also holds a Masters of Educational Leadership. He is currently nearing the completion of his Ph.D. in higher education administration from Liberty University.

Michael has worked for the Department of Defense for fifteen years. He taught, coached, and sponsored various clubs and activities at Ansbach Middle High School from 2004-2015. During this time, Michael served as a member of the Technical Evaluations Board; the Bavarian Health and Wellness Committee; the European Athletic Council; and the 21st Century Skills Task Group. In 2015, was selected as the Assistant Principal for Wiesbaden High School, where he had the opportunity to help teachers and students transition to the first 21stCentury School design within DoDEA-Europe. In 2018, Michael was awarded the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service. is innovative and values excellence is curricular and co-curricular programs. Together with his staff, plans to serve military-connected third culture students to ensure they build the skills they need to thrive in a dynamic and global world. is also family-oriented and he and his family look forward to continued service to the Alconbury community.
