Mr. Ronald Lathrop
Biography
Mr. Lathrop is a graduate of Western Washington University, where he earned a B.A. in Education in 1981, and the University of Oregon where he earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 1992. Mr. Lathrop hails from Gig Harbor, Washington and is the proud son of a World War II Veteran in the Navy and Marine Corps and life-long educators.
Before coming to Hohenfels, Mr. Lathrop served at DoDEA schools in, Vilseck, Hohenfels, and Stuttgart in Germany and at RAF Croughton and Feltwell in the United Kingdom. He also worked in the Peninsula School District in Gig Harbor, Washington as a teacher prior to joining DoDEA. During Mr. Lathrop's years as an educator, he has also served as an elementary classroom teacher, P.E. and ESL teacher.
Mr. Lathrop is committed to exploiting every opportunity that can extend and enhance the learning for all Hohenfels Elementary School students in order to prepare them for the next level and believes it is our duty as an organization to seek ways in which we can grow in order to provide the best possible educational environment to our clientele.
