Mrs. Glynis Riccio

Glynis Riccio began her career with the Savannah-Chatham County Public School system in 1997. She held numerous positions during her tenure there - Speech-Language Pathologist, Special Education Staffing Specialist, Special Education Program Manager and Assistant Principal at Juliette Low Elementary School. She moved to the Richmond area in 2013 and was a PreKindergarten Teacher at the Virginia Commonwealth University CDC. Prior to coming to Crossroads Elementary School she was a teacher with the Chesterfield County Public Schools. She came to Crossroads Elementary in April 2017 as an Assistant Principal and was named the Lead Administrator for Dahlgren School in 2019. Her educational background includes a Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology/Special Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Georgia Southern University. She is married to retired USAF Chief Master Sergeant John Riccio, who is currently working for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Their daughter Danielle resides in Philadelphia, PA and son Julian, a graduate of University of Richmond resides in Charlotte, NC.
