Mrs. Tessa Moss-Beaman
Biography
Mrs. Tessa Moss-Beaman is the Principal at Stuttgart Elementary School. Prior to this assignment, she served as the Assistant Principal at Stuttgart High School and Robinson Barracks Elementary/Middle School in Stuttgart, Germany.
Previously, Mrs. Moss-Beaman served as the Early Childhood Science and Social Studies Instructional System Specialist (ISS) in the Okinawa District Superintendent's Office. As an ISS, Mrs. Moss-Beaman coordinated the Okinawa District Parent University and the district's Science Technology Engineer & Mathematic (STEM) Awareness Week. She is innovative in integrating research-based best practices in technologies, instructional strategies, quality curriculum standards, and emerging skills that enable all students to reach their full potential in a globally competitive environment.
Mrs. Moss-Beaman's career with DoDEA began as a teacher at The Sullivans Elementary School in Yokosuka, Japan and Kadena Elementary School in Okinawa, Japan. She has taught grades first and second. Mrs. Moss-Beaman also served as a Literacy Support Specialist, Continuous School Improvement(CSI) Chairperson, Curriculum Implementation Facilitator, School Advisory Committee Member, and a member of the K-3 Assessment Technical Evaluation Board held in Peachtree City, Georgia. Prior to joining DoDEA, Mrs. Moss-Beaman taught elementary students in Clayton County Georgia.
Mrs. Moss-Beaman is a native of Mobile, Alabama. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. In her spare time, Mrs. Moss-Beaman enjoys spending time with her husband- Fletcher and son - Fletcher Carl. Mrs. Moss-Beaman is also a singer/song writer and a published children's book author.
