Ms. Stacey Hull-Walsh

Biography

Ms. Hull-Walsh began her DoDEA career in 2009 at Lakenheath Middle School on RAF Feltwell, UK where she taught Math, Science, and coordinated the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Program. In 2014, Ms. Hull-Walsh joined Kadena Middle School in Okinawa, Japan as the Assistant Principal and was later selected to lead Kadena Middle School as the Principal.

As an AVID teacher, she was selected to become a Staff Developer for the AVID Center. During this time, Ms. Hull-Walsh provided professional development for aspiring AVID teachers throughout the United States. Before joining DoDEA in 2009, Ms. Hull-Walsh was a teacher in Florida for seven years.

Ms. Hull-Walsh is from Rockledge, Florida and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, Orlando. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her educational vision includes an environment where students are supported intellectually, emotionally, and socially, while being motivated to be college or career ready upon graduation. She believes that students should be challenged through a rigorous, yet relevant, curriculum.

Ms. Hull-Walsh has two children of her own, Brianna and Braxton, who keep herself and her husband, George quite busy. Principal Hull-Walsh is passionate and is excited to be part of the Yokosuka community.
