Ms. Tiffanie Ploeger
Biography
I am delighted to join the Crossroads Elementary School team and would like to provide a little insight into my background. I have a BA in Spanish from University of Wisconsin and a Masters in the Art of Teaching (MAT) from National-Louis University. I joined DoDEA in March of 2021 from Wisconsin.
Prior to joining DoDEA, I served multilingual learners as a Developmental Bilingual Education (DBE) teacher, a district instructional coach for ESL and Bilingual Education at eleven schools in Madison, WI, and as a building administrator at the elementary level for five years.
Outside of school, you will find me in nature, reading, traveling, and practicing cosmetology (30 years!) in addition to baking and trying my hand at international dishes. I also love to swim and to kayak.
In my two decades in education, I have always been a proponent of equity in education – access to authentic resources, educational opportunities, and excellence in education! Collaboration, reflection, innovation, and celebration have been the keys to success in working with students and colleagues. I look forward to all opportunities to serve our military-connected students and staff as the assistant principal at Crossroads Elementary School.
