Course Description

The online Accelerated Math 7/8 course is aligned with the College and Career Ready Standards for seventh grade and half of the College and Career Ready Standards for eighth grade. In this course students develop a coherent understanding of and fluency with the real number system focusing on rational numbers. Students use linear equations to analyze, represent, and solve problems related to data distributions. They apply knowledge from previous mathematics courses to work with two- and three-dimensional figures in preparation for concepts that will begin in Algebra 1. Application is emphasized.
