Accelerated Math 8/Algebra I C

The online 8th/Algebra 1 course is designed to allow students who have completed the Accelerated Math 7/8 course to complete the coursework aligned with the College and Career Ready Standards for eighth grade and complete coursework aligned with the College and Career Ready Standards for Algebra 1.  In this course students develop knowledge in mathematics through work with linear expressions and equations. Essential topics include interpreting quantities and rates, functions and function notation, rational exponents, quadratic relationships, and using regression techniques to describe relationships between data sets. Application and evaluation are emphasized. Course Note: This course meets the Math Algebra 1 graduation requirement.
