AP English Language+
The AP English Language and Composition+ (year-long) course is designed to align with introductory college-level rhetoric and writing curricula. Â The course engages students to develop evidence-based analytic and argumentative essays while developing a personal style through appropriate grammatical choices. Â Students will evaluate, synthesize, and cite research to support arguments. Â Students will read and analyze rhetorical elements and their effects on non-fiction texts from many disciplines and historical periods. Â The College Board does not recommend a pre-requisite. Â Course Note: This course satisfies the English Language Arts-11 or -12 (1 credit) graduation requirement. Weighted.
