Course Description

The online AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism (semester) course is a calculus-based, college-level physics course, especially appropriate for students planning to specialize or major in physical science or engineering. This course builds upon the content of AP Physics: Mechanics. The course explores topics such as electrostatics; conductors, capacitors, and dielectrics; electric circuits; magnetic fields; and electromagnetism. Introductory differential and integral calculus is used throughout the course. The College Board recommends the following pre-requisite(s) or co-requisite: completion of calculus. Course Note: This course satisfies the Science (.5 credit-Physics of 3 credits) graduation requirement. Unweighted
