Course Description

The Business and Personal Finance (semester) course helps students develop financial literacy skills and an understanding of economic principles. Students will learn how to make informed, responsible decisions related to budgeting, banking, credit, insurance, spending, taxes, saving, and investing. Students enrolled in this course will be administered the NOCTI Personal Finance Foundations credential exam. Course Note: This course satisfies the Career Technical Education (.5 of 1.5 credit) graduation requirement.
