School year
2023 - 2024
Course Description

Online Physics (year-long) is a lab-based course that explores how things work and the fundamental laws of the universe. This course is a standards-based study of fundamental physics concepts, such as kinematics, dynamics, propagation and conservation of energy and momentum, gravitation and orbital mechanics, heat and thermodynamics, waves, optics, electromagnetic phenomena, and relativity and quantum physics on Earth and in space. The theme of energy is prevalent throughout the course. Course Note: This course satisfies the Science graduation requirement of 1 credit for physics.
