Course Description

The Computer Art (year-long) course aligned to DoDEA College and Career Ready Standards Arts, CCRSA (National Core Art Standards, NCAS) is designed to provide the basics of two-dimensional graphic design, using the computer as the design medium. Students will infuse the elements and principals of art while using painting, drawing, illustration, and graphic arts software programs to create works of art. Students need not have a compatible computer of their own, as all assignments will be completed in class.   Course Note: The prerequisite for this course is Fundamentals of Art. This course satisfies the Fine Arts (1 credit) graduation requirement.
