Education I
Education I (year-long) is the foundational course under the Teaching as a Profession pathway for students interested in learning more about becoming a teacher, school counselor, trainer, media specialist, speech-language pathologist or any education and training related professional. Upon completion of this course, proficient students will gain knowledge in the history of education, careers in education, and the influence of human development on learning. Artifacts will be created for inclusion in a portfolio, which will continue throughout the full sequence of courses. Course Note: This course satisfies the Career Technical Education (1 of 1.5 credit) graduation requirement.
