Currently, Goodrich teaches 3rd grade at Gordon Elementary School. All three DDESS schools are located on Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Before joining DoDEA, Goodrich taught first grade with Oakland Elementary School and Wilson Elementary School, both with the Lauderdale County Schools in Alabama. Goodrich and her husband enjoy all levels of camping, from primitive backpacking to traveling the United States in their motorhome.
