Kari Dahl
Kari Dahl is the gifted resource teacher at Poole Elementary School. Mrs. Dahl is currently in her 15th year of teaching, and this is her 8th year with DoDEA. In her 15 years of teaching, Mrs. Dahl worked as an elementary school gifted teacher, staff development teacher, middle school gifted education teacher, middle school AVID teacher, and 7th grade ELA teacher. She also is very proud of her work as the advisor of the Poole Ambassadors, National Junior Honor Society, and Student Government Association.
Mrs. Dahl received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College and a Master of Arts in Education {Reading) from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Mrs. Dahl continued her education by earning certificates in Gifted Education (K-12) and AVID (MS/SS).
Mrs. Dahl believes that all children can succeed. As teachers, our responsibility is to provide our students with the tools to achieve this success. Mrs. Dahl takes that responsibility very seriously, and she works diligently to provide a positive, supportive, and challenging learning environment.
Mrs. Dahl is married and has three children. She is originally from Ohio, but she has called North Carolina home for the past 15 years.
