Dr. Wanda Bradley
Biography
Originally from the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dr. Wanda Bradley has been in the field of education for twenty-eight years, twenty-four of which have been in administration. She started her career as a paraprofessional, and later became a teacher in Biloxi, Mississippi. Bradley’s school leadership career began as assistant principal at North Bay Elementary, in Biloxi, MS. After serving as an assistant principal for three and a half years, she became principal of Gaston Point Elementary in Gulfport, MS, where she remained until she joined the Department of Defense Education Activity, Kentucky District in 2009. During Bradley’s tenure at Fort Knox, she served as principal of both Pierce Elementary and Scott Middle Schools.
Bradley joined the Pacific West District in 2013, where she was the principal of multiple schools, including Casey Elementary/Middle School and Seoul American Middle Schools until their closures in 2016 and 2018, respectively. She joined Osan Elementary in 2018, then became the instructional leader of Osan Middle High School. She shares that she has thoroughly enjoyed her time in the Pacific West District and will always cherish the lasting relationships she was able to build along the way. Bradley joined the Europe South District becoming a leader of Rota Middle High School in beautiful Rota, Spain in 2022. She is extremely proud of the transformational work that she and her staff accomplished during her time in Rota.
Bradley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from Tougaloo College. She went on to earn Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also earned a Specialist and a Doctorate in Psychology and Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi.
It is Bradley’s philosophy that for students to experience true learning, they first must believe they are valued and experience a sense of belonging. She believes in treating everyone with respect, and being firm, fair, and consistent. She strives to promote a safe, positive, authentic, and engaging learning environment for every child.
Dr. Bradley is active in various community service and professional organizations. She participated in DoDEA’s Leadership Institute and is a founding fellow of the University of Southern Mississippi’s Center for School Leadership. Her greatest joy in life is being the proud mother of two amazing children, Krista and Myles, and she and her family are excited to join the Europe Central District in her new role as a Community Superintendent.
