DODEA Europe Athletes of the Year: Isabella Guest and Jack Gruver
Please join us in congratulating the DoDEA-Europe Athletes of the Year, Isabella Guest from AFNorth and Jack Gruver from Stuttgart High School. Isabella Guest will be a senior in the upcoming school year, and Jack Gruver completed his senior year at Stuttgart. Both of them are accomplished three-sport athletes.Â
Isabella Guest, Grade 12, AFNORTH M/HS
Isabella Guest, a talented senior at AFNORTH M/HS, has made a mark on the volleyball court. Her exceptional performance earned her recognition as an All-Tournament Volleyball player. Guest extends her athleticism beyond volleyball and excels on the basketball court and soccer field. She earned spots on the All-Tournament and All-Europe teams in basketball and was selected for the All-Europe 2nd Team for Soccer, demonstrating her commitment to excellence across multiple sports.Â
Jack Gruver, Grade 12, Stuttgart HSÂ
Jack Gruver, a senior at Stuttgart HS, dominated the football field with outstanding performances on both offense and defense, earning him the title of All-Europe Offense and Defense Football player. Gruver also excelled in wrestling, becoming the Wrestling Champion in the 190-pound weight class. His determination and skill set him apart as one of the best in Europe. Gruver's athleticism extends to track and field events, securing him the title of Track/Field Shot Put Champion and an impressive second place in the discus event at the All-Europe competition.Â
