Far East FIRST Tech Challenge 2024
In March, students from around DoDEA Pacific designed, built, and programmed robots at the Far East FIRST Tech Challenge. During the event, students competed against other teams and formed alliances.
“The students need to problem solve and I think this robotics competition - in addition to the engineering piece of it - really makes them work together," said Jeanne White, Far East FIRST Tech Challenge event coordinator. "It makes them think together, it makes them challenge themselves. I believe that this is important to them because it's a lifelong learning event and it's an opportunity for them to go out and push their boundaries, push their limits and try different things.”
