DoDEA Pacific East, South districts named Cognia Systems of Distinction

DoDEA Pacific’s East and South districts have been named Cognia 2022 Systems of Distinction.

Cognia is an external agency and a global leader in educational accreditation. During the 2021-22 school year, both districts completed Cognia’s rigorous Accreditation Engagement Review process, which is based on the latest research and understanding of learning, teaching, and leading expected in effective schools and systems. To maintain accreditation status, districts must meet all applicable standards.

As 2022 Systems of Distinction, both Pacific East and Pacific South have demonstrated effective implementation of high-quality instruction, consistent organizational effectiveness, and a commitment to continuous improvement, according to the Cognia website.
