DoDEA Pacific selects LTC (Ret.) Fields as JROTC Instructional Systems Specialist

The Department of Defense Education Activity – Pacific Region is pleased to announce the selection of LTC (Ret.) Douglas Fields as the Instructional Systems Specialist for the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program in the Pacific, effective Oct. 14, 2024.
LTC Fields joined DODEA in 2018, serving as the senior Army JROTC instructor at Zama Middle High School, Camp Zama, Japan. While at Zama, he also served as the Marksmanship coach and Career and Technical Education (CTE) department chair. Prior to joining DODEA, LTC Fields taught JROTC for 10 years in Broward County, Fla. at South Plantation High School.
As the Informational Systems Specialist for JROTC, LTC Fields will organize and support the Pacific’s twelve high school JROTC programs and activities, to include marksmanship, drill, and cadet leadership training events.
LTC Fields holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emporia State University and a master’s degree in management from Troy University.
