Europe Athlete of the Year SY 22-23

Please join us in congratulating the DoDEA-Europe Athletes of the Year, Lyndsey Urick from Wiesbaden, and William Pierce from Brussels. They are both seniors and accomplished three-sport athletes.

Lyndsey excelled in Volleyball at the All-Europe level with a 1st Team selection and was also on the All-Star team. She was 2nd team All-Europe for Basketball and 1st Team All-Europe for Softball. Lyndsey will attend Ferris State in Michigan to play Volleyball.

William excelled in Football at the All-Europe level with a 1st Team selection, was an individual champion and MVP for Wrestling, and Track/Field Championships “Field Athlete of the Meet” with two individual golds and a silver. William will attend the Naval Academy and compete on the Track/Field team.

Both Lyndsey and William represent the excellence of DoDEA-Europe student athletes. We wish them both the best!
