Publication of DoDEA AI 5050.02 Employee Dependent Medical Travel (EDMT)

This issuance was approved on August 23, 2024. This Issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and implements procedures for processing DoDEA Employee and Dependent Medical Travel (EDMT) requests for required medical treatment.  This Issuance clarifies DoDEA EDMT policy in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).  This Issuance does not address or provide guidance for aeromedical evacuation. 

This new publication incorporates and cancels: PDO-004, “DoDDS-Pacific Guidelines and Procedures, Employee and Dependent Medical Travel,” January 23, 2008.
