Korea District Advisory Council (KDAC)

The KDAC is a mechanism for the DoDEA District Leadership and representatives of key stakeholder groups to foster communication, facilitate problem solving, and provide recommendations to the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) as appropriate. Members of the KDAC work collectively to enhance and improve the delivery of educational programs and support services to DoDEA students. Membership includes DoDEA District Leadership, military installation commanders, parent representatives, and school liaisons.

Guam School Board

DoDEA Pacific West schools in Guam fall under the DoDEA Guam School Board. The School Board is advisory in nature and may participate in the development and oversight of educational policies, procedures, and programs for schools in Guam. The school board membership includes DoDEA District leadership, military installation leadership, parent representatives, and school liaisons.

The KDAC meets two times per year. The Guam School Board meets four times per year.Please contact the District Office with any questions.

Visit your school's webpage for more details on available opportunities, including volunteering, participating in the School Advisory Committees (for Korea schools), or joining the Parent Teacher Organization.
