Dear DoDEA-Europe Students, Families and Staff,
As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, I want to extend a warm welcome to each one of you. There are some incredible changes happening this year, including the introduction of universal preschool in 29 schools across DoDEA Europe—a monumental achievement. We've also restructured our districts, resulting in a fourth district. The district configuration now includes Europe West, Europe Central, Europe East, and Europe South. Additionally, we're thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new facility for the Brussels Unit School and the commencement of numerous school construction projects across Europe. It's truly an exciting time for all of us!
To all the students, I want you to know that you are the heart of everything we do. Whether you're just starting out or returning, please remember that our teachers, administrators, and support staff are here to stand by you every step of the way. Our aim is to provide a personalized learning experience that meets the unique needs of each one of you. Throughout the year, you'll have countless opportunities to connect with your teachers and peers, and to take part in various school activities as you pave the way for your future. I encourage you to embrace new learning opportunities and extracurricular activities, so you can make this your best school year yet!
To the parents and guardians, I want to express my gratitude for your partnership and stress the importance of your involvement in your child's education. Whether your child is just starting preschool or getting ready to graduate, your role in their education is pivotal. We value the trust you've placed in us, and we are committed to working with you to nurture, engage, and empower your child to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Finally, to all our dedicated staff members, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support of our military-connected families. Your dedication is truly unparalleled, and I am deeply appreciative of the extraordinary commitment you show in providing an exceptional educational experience for our students and their families.
