DoDEA uses the Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment system in SmartTeach™. Prekindergarten educators use GOLD to record authentic, observational data for all areas of development and learning throughout the year, to inform and plan instruction based on students’ needs and to provide progress reporting to families.
