Human Resources Training, Education, and Professional Development
Welcome to the Human Resources Training, Education, and Professional Development (TE&PD) page. The TE&PD team resides within the Human Capital Management Branch in DoDEA HR. In partnership with the Education Directorate’s Professional Learning Division, we provide a range of training and professional developmental programs to support DoDEA employees in becoming more productive and effective. DoDEA strives to create an environment conducive to advancing the learning experience of our employees.
Training and professional development programs are designed to:
- enhance individual and organizational performance
- assist in achieving performance objectives and DoDEA’s mission
- maximize the return on investment to DoDEA

- Processing SF-182 Authorization, Agreement, and Certification of Training Forms (Training Officer Role)
- DoD Leadership Programs
Leadership Development Programs: DoD's Leader Development Programs are critical components of the Department's strategy for developing civilian leaders and fully incorporating and institutionalizing the DoD Civilian Leader Development Framework and Continuum. As an agency under DoD, DoDEA HQ and above school level leaders GS 7 – 15 and SES may be eligible.Â
Cornerstone On-Demand (CSOD) is DoDEA's online learning platform for professional development. CSOD supports all DoDEA employees individualized professional learning and development needs. This includes electronic individual development plans, developmental training from third party providers, and federally mandated training.
