Emergency Visitation Travel

Overview

DoDEA is committed to ensuring that employees and/or their dependents at a foreign permanent duty stations (PDS) outside of the contiguous United States (OCONUS) are provided the necessary transportation in specific emergency situations in accordance with the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Specific emergency situations may include eldercare, death, or a new child.  Employees and/or dependents must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the JTR.

Please contact your supervisor and servicing Resource Management Office for additional information and requirements.
